Implementing Rules
INSPIRE Directive sets general principles the spatial data coordination between users and suppliers so, that it would be possible to combine information and electronic services received from different sectors, search for the spatial information should be easy, considering data quality, accessibility, exchange and other significant issues, their compatibility with particular purpose should be easy to evaluate, and terms of use – simple.
INSPIRE Directive defines principle, general regulations for European Unified Spatial Information Infrastructure development. It is based on five Implementing Rules and Detailed Technical Specifications, which regulate particular spheres separately:
- Metadata
- Functional compatibility of Spatial Data Sets with Services
- Network services (discovery, view, download, transform, launch)
- Data and services sharing policy
- Coordinating, monitoring and reporting measures.
